Fairfield News: Nurses Aid Has Pot FedEx’d

In the early hours on November 19, 2014 Fed Ex officials discovered a suspicious package at their Norwalk facility. The Norwalk Police Special Services was advised and responded to the facility. Shortly thereafter Fairfield Police Officer Wells along with his Canine Ruger responded to the facility after it was discovered that the package was earmarked to a Fairfield address. During a routine inspection by officers, Ruger the K9, alerted officials of the presence of contraband. A search and seizure warrant was obtained by Fairfield Police detectives to open two packages addressed to Main Street, Southport, CT. The address is a private residential home occupied by an elderly resident in hospice care, who was not aware of the packages and was not involved. These packages had been shipped, via FED-EX.…

The books are priced for the special sale and will include children’s, young adult, and fiction.
