28 Graduate from Bridgeport Police Academy
Twenty-eight recruits graduated from the Bridgeport PoliceAcademy tonight. “Thursday will be a special day,” said Mayor Bill Finch. “We’re welcoming 28 new police officers in five different cities and towns. Seven months ago, they started the academy as strangers and leave ready to start new careers keeping our kids and families safe – and as a family.” Seventeen of the new officers will serve the residents of Bridgeport and our visitors. One each will serve in Fairfield and Greenwich.
