8:55pm--#Fairfield CT--Police are investigating a carjacking at Jennings Beach by two white males in their 20's.  A man is reporting to police that he was physically forced  out of his gold Ford Ranger and the suspect drove  onto the beach near the pavilion where the truck is now stuck.  The suspects fled on foot.  No mention of any weapon used. Bridgeport Detectives Investigate Overnight Shooting

(Bridgeport, CT -- Aug. 30, 2014) -- Detectives are investigating a shooting that happened in the Marina Village housing complex early today.Police responded  to the area of 380 Iranistan Ave. at about 2:30 a.m. near Building 22.The victim, identified as Eugene Williams, 48, of Bridgeport, suffered a gunshot wound to the neck. He was transported to Bridgeport Hospital where he underwent surgery.The investigation remains in its early stages. Based on initial witness accounts, police are seeking at least two suspects.
