Bridgeport Detectives Investigate Shooting
UPDATE to a story we told you live as it was happening: #Bridgeport, CT – Sept. 9, 2014) – A city man was shot in the buttocks late Monday. Officer Benita Bailey had responded to an unrelated call on Trumbull Avenue when she heard gunshots and observed several vehicles fleeing the area. She went to that location and was flagged down by Hakeem Clarke, 18, of Bridgeport, who stated that he had been shot. The wound was not life threatening and he told police he did not know who shot him. Detectives responded and are investigating the incident.
