Two-Day Exercise Simulated a Category 1 Hurricane (HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Dannel P. 2:25am--#Bridgeport CT--A man was just robbed at gunpoint of this shoes, phone and money while on Bennett Street (off Fairfield Avenue). Police are investigating.
10:15ish--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters battled a massive inferno at 40 Hudson Street. While on the way to the fire firefighters received word to use extreme caution at the scene for there police were called to a report of shots fired in the neighborhood. The firefighters arrived on scene safely and was did a great job quickly get water on the fire and getting the flames under control. First and second inspections found everyone got out safely but sadly one dog had perished in the blaze. #Trumbull CT--Over 400 runners and walkers joined together to help raise over $40,000 in New Life Church's first 5K marathon Saturday. The money was raised for Project Rescue. At Project Rescue they provide a physical, emotional and spiritual rescue and also give a holistic restoration to women and children that are in sexual slavery.
