GOV. MALLOY: LESSON FROM SUPER STORM SANDY – CONNECTICUT’S TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUTURE NEEDS ‘HARDENING’

(HARTFORD) - Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the State of Connecticut is applying for $600 million in federal transportation funding to help cover the capital costs of three resiliency, or “hardening”, projects central to the commuter rail infrastructure of Connecticut.
