1:01pm--#Bridgeport CT--Some tense moments for Bridgeport Police when they reported to 8o0 block of Lindley Street for a possible break in. The first responding officer found an open window and saw a shot gun on the kitchen table in the residence. Additional officers and K-9 were called to the scene. (Bridgeport, CT – July 2, 2013) – A city man faces charges after police found marijuana in his underwear. On Sunday at 4 a.m., Officer James Ivanko was assigned to monitor closing time at the L & A Social Club at 1506 Stratford Ave. The location has been the site of numerous acts of violence and neighborhood complaints. Ivanko saw the suspect, David Thompson, 28, walk down a common driveway on private property, followed him and told him he was under arrest for disorderly conduct. After his arrest, hidden in Thompson’s underwear, police also found six plastic bags containing marijuana. They also found an unopened bottle of Hennessy cognac in his pocket.
