Bridgeport woman was charged with murder

A city woman was charged with murder today in connection with the May 18 incident in which a man was fatally crushed between a car and a cinderblock wall. Cherelle Baldwin, 21, of 93-95 Ash St., was charged with murder after a three-week investigation concluded that she intentionally accelerated her red Pontiac and pinned Jeffrey Brown, a man with whom she had a child, in what is viewed as a domestic homicide.
