Homicide in Bridgeport
4:13am–#Bridgeport, CT — May 12, 2013 — Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting this morning on Berkshire Avenue at Noble Avenue.
Police responded to the area at 4:13 a.m. today on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers observed a silver Ford Fusion parked on Berkshire, just west of Noble. The vehicle had multiple bullet holes in its left, front window and door area. Inside the vehicle police found a male who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by AMR personnel.
Detectives have a tentative identification on the victim. It is not yet being released pending verification and notification of his family.
At this time, no motive has been established and detectives remain on scene.

2:03am–#Fairfield CT–Police are investigating a report of an unresponsive male in a car parked at the Fairfield Woods Road Library on Fairfield Woods Road.
Street fight
1:47am–#Bridgeport CT–Police on the way to 1591 Barnum Ave. to break up a fairly large street fight. One officer on scene requesting back up. They do break these things up quickly.
Shots fired
1:33am–#Bridgeport CT–Police are investigating shots fired outside Pleasant Moment’s Cafe on William Street. It doesn’t sound like anyone or anything has been hit.
Rollover I-95
11:12pm–#Westport CT #cttraffic–I-95 northbound by exit 18 a reported rollover accident with 4 occupants safely out of the vehicle.
Subway Robbed At Gunpoint
10:30pm–#Bridgeport CT–The Subway on East Main Street was just robbed at gunpoint by 2 masked males with a shotgun wearing gray Champion hoodies. A third male was seen as a lookout. Police are canvassing the are and K-9 on the way.
Structure fire turns out to be false alarm
10:20pm–#Stratford CT–Fire fighters responded to 163 Otis Street for a possible structure fire turned out to be a low battery in a smoke detector. Too bad Interstate didn’t make batteries for them!
Woman falls to the tracks with child
9:40pm–#Bridgeport CT–First responders on the way to the train station on Water Street for a mother with her small child who fell onto the track at track 3. UPDATE–Woman and child now off the tracks but need EMS.
