2021-11-25@8:30PMish-- Police reported that a person was shot in the 700 block of Brooks Street. The person was transported to the hospital by EMS. The extent of their injuries is not known at this time.
2021-11-24@10:45pm--#Fairfield CT-- Police received a call for what was thought possibly be a person hanging from the Merwin's Lane overpass of the Merritt Parkway. State police told me it was a prank. I pressed to ensure it was nothing derogatory and he said it was a Halloween skeleton dressed in clothes with a noose around it's neck. 2021-11-24@3:03am--#Fairfield CT-- Fairfield Police received a report that a male subject displayed a gun and just robbed Cumberland Farms on Kings Highway. Patrol immediately located and made a motor vehicle stop on a suspicious car in the area, which was identified as the suspects’ car. The vehicle was occupied by two subjects. The operator (Emmanuel Arango 10/18/90) complied with commands. The passenger (Gregory Whren 01/25/62) did not. He exited the car and ran onto I95 and engaged Officers in a brief foot pursuit before being apprehended. Evidence from the robbery was located and collected including the cash that had been taken. Yesterday, I told you about Bridgeport Police Chief Rebecca Garcia taking drinkable water from her officers while she just got a newly furnished office. This type of petty conduct is the exception to the rule. A couple of weeks ago the Southport section of Fairfield had a robbery along with a few stolen cars.
