Fairfield News: Signs Trigger Vandals

A Fairfield home on Davis Road was vandalized during the overnight hours. Police were called to the Davis Road home at 9am on Saturday morning, 10/31 to find political signs defaced and spray painted with BLM and ACAB. Anti-Trump profanities were found to be written on the driveway in shaving cream and the property’s mailbox was covered in shaving cream. A vehicle parked in the driveway was also egged. The owner of the home is a republican member of Fairfield’s Board of Finance. The homeowner was not present when the overnight incident occurred. The incident was reported by a caretaker of the property. The Fairfield Police Department understands that this incident has caused concern to those living within our community.…

Missing Child FOUND

UPDATE: Police say the missing girl has just been found in satisfactory physical condition and being brought to medical professionals for assessment. A Silver Alert has been issued for a 12 year old female named Evelyn Santos-Oliveira  DOB: 7/11/08.  The attached picture of the Victim wearing a brown coat is the most recent picture of her.  The picture in the missing flyer is of the Victim and she is believed to be wearing that white and black dress with flowers.  The attached photo of a silver vehicle arrives at the Victim's house during the time period she went missing and is believed to be a 2011 Mazda 3 Sport.  It cannot be 100% confirmed if she left in this vehicle.  We…

#Bridgeport CT--The City of Bridgeport will roll back to Phase two guidelines and implement stricter enforcement due to a rise in COVID-19 cases. Effectively immediately, City of Bridgeport COVID-19 Closure Policy requires food service establishments to end indoor dining services at 10pm and close by 11pm.  Additionally, any business operating under “indoor recreation sector rules” must close by 11pm. Fairfield Warde High School Marketing students gave the school “pumpkin” to talk about this week!  The students came together to create the Annual Warde Great Pumpkin Patch.  Students were asked to prepare and organize a marketing campaign for an existing product. They investigated and evaluated a product’s SWOT & PEST Analysis, Marketing Mix, Marketing Segmentation, and Competitive Position using a variety of research tools and methodologies.  Using their creativity, they were challenged to transform existing ideas and knowledge into new ideas using a pumpkin and making it resemble the existing product or service.
