Bridgeport News: Police Charge Two In February Homicide

#Bridgeport CT--This afternoon members of the Detective Bureau arrested the two men believed to be responsible for the February 11, 2019, homicide of 19-year-old Dyshon Williams at Luis Munoz Marin Elementary School. The evidence indicates that Williams went to the school at about 10:30 pm to sell two ounces of marijuana to his friend, Darrick Tunstall (DOB: 3/15/00 of 231 Horace St). When Williams arrived, Tunstall and his friend, Vaughn Thomas Jr. (DOB: 3/8/99 of 22 Nelson Terrace) allegedly attempted to rob Williams of the marijuana, fatally shooting him in the process.   Tunstall is charged with Felony Murder, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery in the First Degree, and Robbery in the First Degree. Westport News: 2 Dogs Rescued In Fire

The Westport Fire Department responded to an automatic fire alarm at 10:40am at a residence on Sturges Highway. The initial assignment was 2 engines. Upon arrival, firefighters found a moderate smoke condition visible through the windows of the front door. Firefighters upgraded the response to include an additional 2 engines, 1 heavy rescue, and a command vehicle. Firefighters made entry and quickly found plastic burning in a pot on the stove. There was a moderate smoke condition on the first and second floors of the residence.   During their search, firefighters found 2 dogs and removed them from the smoke filled area. #Milford Police Press Release:  On May 13, 2019, at approximately 9:45pm the Milford Police Department received a complaint of an Armed Robbery at the Mayflower Motel, 219 Woodmont Road, in which the clerk had been struck in the face with a firearm.
