Bridgeport News: Another Child – Car Accident

Fairfield News: Animal Cruelty Charges

#Fairfield CT--On 11/14/2018 at 3:59pm the Fairfield Police Department responded to 37 Prince Street for a report of animal cruelty. Officers responded to find several animal carcasses, which are believed to be canine remains, in crates within the residence. Fairfield Animal Control Officers and Detectives responded to the house to further investigate. The remains were removed after a search warrant for the residence was conducted. On 11/29/2018 the Fairfield Police Detective Bureau completed an arrest warrant affidavit for the crimes of Animal Cruelty - 5 counts, and Criminal Damage to Landlord's property by a Tenant 1st Degree, for Heidi E Lueders DOB: 03/04/1987, of Prince St. in Fairfield. Bridgeport Cops Snuff Out Cigarette Thief

12:40am--#Bridgeport CT-- Police received a call from Walgreen Security of an intruder in their 960 North Avenue Store.  Police surrounded the store and officers peered in the window and observed the man allegedly attempting load up and steal cigarettes.  Once the man realized the police were there he kept running back and forth towards the pharmacy department. He then attempted to escape through the ceiling (tile dust can be seen on his hoodie).  K-9 from Westport arrived along with a person with a key to the store.  Police had trouble locating him and thought he might have still been in the ceiling.  He was found crouched in the pharmacy department.  Police had tried every door and it is thought that…

BRIDGEPORT, CT — January 15th, 2019) Bridgeport police arrested three juveniles and seized three guns following a police chase that ended with a crash on Berkshire Avenue around 7 PM Tuesday, say police. #Bridgeport CT-- On January 14, 2019, Razzie Hancock was stabbed in the chest at 136 Bishop Avenue and died as a result of his injuries. Detectives quickly identified a suspect and Detective Winkler applied for an arrest warrant that was signed by a Superior Court judge today. This evening Kenyon Gay (12/10/77) of Bridgeport and West Haven was arrested and charged with Murder, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon and Assault 2nd Degree. Bond is $1,000,000. Bridgeport News: Police Identify City’s First Homicide For 2019

Shakespeare Theater: Alarms & Sprinkler Did Not Activate

#Stratford CT-- Monday the city of Stratford held a press conference to address the fire at the Shakespeare Theater early Sunday morning. Fire Chief Robert McGrath said the first 911 call came in at 0049 hours or approximately ten of 1am. Police were first on the scene within minutes and report the structure was fully engulfed. The chief said the first arriving units reported heavy fire throughout the structure. Firefighters also had to contend with burning embers starting fires in the trees and marsh area.
