·         Since yesterday’s update, an additional 35 Connecticut residents have tested positive, bringing the statewide total to 194. This includes the first case to be reported out of New London County.   ·         Governor Lamont today signed his ninth executive order pursuant to his emergency declaration, taking further actions to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in Connecticut. Strengthening America’s Supply Chain and National Security Act

WASHINGTON—U.S. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) and U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) introduced the Strengthening America’s Supply Chain and National Security Act, bipartisan, bicameral legislation to combat America’s supply chain risk and dependence on China for pharmaceuticals. Bridgeport News: Parking Permits Being Enforced

Bridgeport News: Arrests Made

2020-#Bridgeport CT--This morning, members of the Bridgeport Police ESU team assisted Detectives Harper and Santora on executing an arrest and search warrants for Antonio Johnson Jr. DOB: 1/10/93.  The arrest warrant stems from an incident with a large group of dirt bikes and quads causing a nuisance on city streets.  The suspect Antonio Johnson Jr. DOB: 1/10/93 also threatened a Police Officer and his family.  The investigation led to obtaining an arrest warrant, with a $60,000 bond, for various threatening and motor vehicle violations and a search warrant was also obtained seeking items of evidence from the incident.
