8:08pm--#Bridgeport CT--A woman has been hit by a car in front of the train station on Water Street and fled the scene. The car was a blue Toyota and police know the plate number. Radio reports say the woman has minor injuries.

(Bridgeport, CT – Oct. 21, 2013) – Two men face assault and robbery charges in connection with an incident Friday in the Hollow neighborhood. Officers Jeremy Kelly and Adam Rozum located the victim and a witness at the intersection of Frank and Linen streets just after 7 p.m. The victim and witness reported that the victim was assaulted by two males who were armed with a baseball bat and a sock that contained a hard object. They fled with cash and a phone. The officers followed the witness for several blocks and observed the two suspects standing on a porch on Center Street. This state police officer took it upon himself to kick me off the property after I identified myself as a member of the press. I asked where I could report and he told me to get off the property or I'll be arrested. The video you seen is mid way between our "conversation" and I knew I had to roll tape to capture his exchange. He knew I was rolling video and that I was with the press. 5:21pm--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters and police responding to Seaside Park for a man in the water off the rocks on near the lighthouse. No mention if he is in distress. UPDATE-- AMR have walked out on the rocks to him. UPDATE--The man "blew out his knee" according to reports and first responders are trying to figure out how to get him ashore. UPDATE--Firefighters have him on the boat and on the way to pier 5.
11:25pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police are investigating shots fired at a person on Eaton Street. About 5-6 shots were fired but it does not sound like anyone or anything has been hit. The shooter fled on foot.

12:33pm-#Bridgeport CT--Police were called to Curiale School at 300 Laurel Avenue for a student caught with alcohol in his possession.
11:35am--#Bridgeport--Police, firefighters and EMS on the way to the 1100 block of Park Avenue to investigate possible arson. A man attempted to set the home on fire, the fire is now out but the homeowner has burns on their hand. The responsible fled in a black Audi.
