Armed Robbery In Fairfield

On March 2, 2026, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Fairfield Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at News Express, located at 200 Tunxis Hill Road in Fairfield. The store was open at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported. Police stated, “The investigation remains active, and we are unable to provide additional details at this time, as doing so could impact the integrity of the investigation.” The case remains under investigation.
