4:08pm–#Fairfield CT–Firefighters on the way to the 600 block of Hoyden’s Hill behind a construction site where a fire pit has gotten out of control and extending to the grass area. Fairfield freighters busy today!

Possible Fire in Ansonia
2:29pm–#Ansonia CT–Possible structure fire at 221 Housatonic Avenue. Resident says heavy smoke coming from the basement. They have closed the door afraid to check on it.
Out of hand fireplace fire
1:32pm–#Stratford CT–Firefighters on the way to an out of hand fire in the fireplace at 403 Bar Harbor Road. The flue won’t open and surrounding area of the fireplace is getting really hot.
Porch fire
8:54pm–#Bridgeport CT–Police were first on the scene and assisted located the porch fire which was first reported as a fire in the back of 865 Madison Avenue. Police found the address to be 23 Morgan Avenue on the back porch on the third floor. Citizens attempted to extinguish the fire but it was finally put out by firefighters.

Fairfield Stove Fire
5:20pm–#Fairfield CT–Firefighters check on a stove fire which was out on arrival at 150 Brentwood Avenue. No fire extensions to any other part of the house. Power secured to the stove.

Car fire may have been set
12:08am–#Bridgeport CT–Firefighters and police on the way to Randall Ave. (off Lindley St.) for a car fire that may have been set by two yoots seen breaking the windows prior to the fire.
Camper Fire Quickly Extinguished
11:40pm–#Bridgeport CT–Firefighters quickly extinguished a small fire in a camper parked in side lot at 430 Park Street.
