4:49pm–#Fairfield CT–Multiple police were dispatched to the Game Stop on Black Rock Turnpike for a man with a gun.  As police were on the way it was thought to be a toy gun according to the caller.  Police taking no chances approached the scene with caution with assault weapons at the ready.  Police confirmed it was a man in costume for the the promotional release of the video game Call of Duty -Ghost.  The man hired by the store for the promotion remained on scene, too shaken to talk to us.  The manager asked me to leave the store offering no insight to the thinking on this promotion.

Central Connecticut State University was on lock down most of the afternoon for a man seen with a gun and sword.   The people standing in line waiting for the release of the game knew it was a promotion but people in the other parts of the plaza did not it and a couple of witnesses told me they were alarmed.
