7:15pm–#Bridgeport CT–Detectives are investigating a shooting incident on Reservoir Avenue tonight.
The shooting happened at approximately 7:15 p.m. in the area of Reservoir Avenue and Alba Avenue. Police located the victim, who is approximately 23, and a male acquaintance a short distance away.
Neither man man lives in Bridgeport. The victim resides in Monroe. He was wounded in the shoulder and will recover.
Based on initial accounts to investigators, the two men were attempting to purchase drugs and the victim was shot when the drug dealer attempted to rob them.  (Bridgeport Police Report)
