8:11pm–#Bridgeport CT–Firefighters received a call for a fire behind a home on Cleveland Avenue.  Police were first on scene and directed the firefighters to the correct address of 1405 Capitol Avenue and then checked the structure for any people or animals.  They then began evacuating the next door neighbors as well as their pets.  Firefighters arrived and found heavy fire in the back of the home.  Firefighters made an attack from the front, back and in the air and had the fire under control in about fifteen minutes.  They also confirmed the police’s initial reports that everyone made it out safely.
