7:35pm Saturday, October 25–Police are investigating a break in in the 2700 block of Morehouse Drive home over the weekend.  A woman told police she went to the mall and locked her doors.  Her ninteen year old son came home a short time later fro m a trip to pick up a pack of cigarettes and found the front door latched from inside.  He went around back and found the basement sliding door broken and open.   Several rooms in the home were ransacked.

 

Some of the items taken was a 3 carrot solitaire diamond ring valued at $27,000, another ring valued at $4,800, 2 Movado watches valued at $400 each and  $3,000 cash tucked behind a dresser drawer.  A total of over $100,000 was taken in the break in.  Detectives are investigating.
