6:51pm–#Bridgeport CT– A contractor digging around a garage at 45 Cornell Street uncovered a World War II-era hand grenade. State police and Stamford took the grenade to 90 Acres Park on Park Avenue. If you hear an explosion that is what it is. Below is the actual grenade uncovered:
