Bridgeport, CT – Mayor Ganim announces that this Wednesday, October 2nd, 2019 from 9:00am-1:00pm the City of Bridgeport Emergency Operations Center will be participating in a Full-Scale Exercise with Sikorsky Aircraft. This exercise is conjunction with the city and Sikorsky to assess emergency preparedness plans in the case of a transportation accident. The Full-Scale drill with EOC and Sikorsky will be conducted as realistically as possible to test the city’s notification processes, response process, well as emergency planning and support process.
