Milford News: Threatening & Disorderly Conduct

#Milford CT-- On October 8, 2021, Milford Police responded to a Railroad Avenue address for the report of a male making concerning statements and threatening to harm others. Investigation led to the arrest of Zachary Gallipoli who is accused of throwing furniture around his residence and waving a knife, threatening to kill a victim as well as police officers. Gallipoli was taken into custody without incident.

Seymour News: Drug Arrest

seymourct --Detectives have arrested a Seymour man on numerous drug charges following a lengthy investigation. On September 7, 2021, at 9 p.m., Detectives assigned to the Statewide Narcotics Task Force, with assistance of the State Police Traffic Services Unit and Seymour Police Patrol Division, executed a narcotics search warrant at 226 Walnut Street, Seymour. The search warrant was the culmination of an investigation into the distribution of narcotics from the residence. The target of the investigation was identified as Saldi Hyska (DOB: 03/16/1998). On October 14, 2021, at approximately 2:59 p.m., Norwalk Police Combined Dispatch received a callstating that there were shots fired at Roton School. Multiple police officers responded to the scene. Theofficers were quickly able to determine that no shooting had occurred, that everyone was safe, and thatthe telephone call was a hoax.The responsible person(s) has (have) been identified. Westport News: Distracted Driving Campaign

(Westport, CT - 10/13/2021) – The Westport Police Department is participating in The Connecticut Department of Transportation’s high visibility distracted driving enforcement campaign. In partnership with State and local law enforcement and the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the campaign will increase efforts to enforce distracted-driving laws. Fairfield News: Man Shot

Police UPDATE: On Thursday, October 14, 2021 at approximately 12:58 AM, the Fairfield Police Department received a report from a Cumberland farms employee at 975 Kings Highway East, Fairfield, that a male gunshot victim had just entered the store. The victim is a delivery driver for Miller Nissan who was shot in the abdomen during a robbery attempt at the dealership at 930 Kings Highway East.  The victim was transported to an area Hospital and has undergone surgery.  The latest report was that he is expected to recover.
