Also, a number of viewers asked about police and EMS presence earlier this morning at Bishop and Connecticut Avenue and at the Early Childhood Learning Center on Stratford Avenue. I have not heard back from the police spokesperson.

#Norwalk CT--On February 9, 2022, Norwalk Police Detectives responded to Stamford Superior Court to serve detainee Michael Tallo with a habeus warrant, for charges relating to a bank robbery. On November 7, 2021 at approximately 11:59 a.m., Norwalk Combined Dispatch received a call advising that TD Bank of Westport Avenue had been robbed, and that the suspect fled on foot. Norwalk Police Officers responded immediately to the area. Officers learned that the suspect handed a note to a teller advising that he was in possession of a weapon. Westport Police Investigating Stolen Car and Vehicle Burglary (Westport, CT 2/10/2022) At approximately 7:40 a.m. today, Westport Police officers responded to 285 Post Road East on a report of a stolen car. The complainant explained that he parked his car in the lot at 7:00 a.m. and when he returned forty minutes later it was gone. The car had been left unlocked with the key fob inside. As the officers were responding to this incident, the emergency communications center received a call about a car accident in the parking lot of 500 Post Road East. Trumbull Police UPDATE: On Wednesday, February 9, 2022, a single car motor vehicle accident, occurred in Trumbull, ending with the death of a local man, closing the road for several hours. The victim, Scott Polke, age 59, of Clover Hill Road, was the driver and only occupant of the vehicle. At around 3:30 PM, the Trumbull Police received several 911 calls to report the motor vehicle accident in the area of Daniels Farm Road near Laurel Street. Arriving Trumbull officers began rendering medical aid to him. Trumbull EMS arrived and assisted with treating the victim before transporting him to Saint Vincent’s Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
