Norwalk News: Kitchen Fire

#Norwalk CT- #ctfire-- Norwalk Fire responded to a kitchen fire on 152 Westport ave. The call came in at 1222 pm. This was a five story elderly housing unit. One occupant was able to safely evacuate her apartment with no injuries. There was fire & smoke damage to the apartment and water damage to the floors below. Milford News: Disorderly Conduct

#Milford CT-- On December 7, 2022, officers responded to a Village Road residence for a report of a domestic violence incident. The victim stated that they got into a verbal argument with Phillip Micalizzi. While they were arguing, he got up from his chair. Micalizzi grabbed them by the hips and pushed them, causing them to fall to the ground and hit their head. He was charged accordingly and released on a promise to appear in court. Milford News: Police Investigate Homicide

Police UPDATE: Yesterday, December 6th, at 9:01pm, the Milford Police Department received a 911 call from the victim’s 17 yr. old child stating that his mother was being assaulted by a male inside their home at 76 Salem Walk. The first arriving officers cleared the residence and discovered that the suspect had fled prior to their arrival. The victim was found deceased inside the home. It is believed that the suspect used an axe during the attack, however, this will be officially determined by the medical examiner.
