Report of a man shot around the 100 block of Hart Street in Bridgeport. Witnesses on scene say they heard 5-7 shots ring out right after the thunder, and that one man was shot in the leg and was transported via AMR. The suspects fled in an unknown direction. It is unknown at this time the extent of the injuries, and this is a currently developing story.
2025-06-29@Ansonia CT – Xavier Glover, 23, of Bridgeport was arrested on June 29, 2025, in connection to a June 2023 shots fired investigation in Ansonia. Officers had responded to reports of gunfire near Orchard Street and South Street on June 14, 2023. Following an investigation, Glover was identified as a suspect and an arrest warrant was issued. He was charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm and carrying a pistol without a permit. Glover was held on a $100,000 bond and arraigned in Derby Superior Court on June 25, 2025.
Norwalk Police arrested Nevaeh Williams, 19, and a juvenile following a dangerous pursuit involving a stolen vehicle on the Stroffolino Bridge. Officers attempted to safely contain the car due to heavy traffic and pedestrians nearby, but the juvenile driver reversed recklessly, nearly hitting a cruiser and drove into oncoming traffic. Police made controlled contact to stop the vehicle, after which both suspects fled on foot into Veterans Park. Officers quickly apprehended the juvenile driver and Williams without incident. Both face charges including larceny of a motor vehicle and interfering with police.
We have reports that Stratford Police are breaking up a gathering by the Stratford Wendy’s on Main Street. Witnesses are saying that there are multiple groups of young adults and/or kids being currently talked to and dispersed by police.
An officer-involved accident occurred on Westfield Ave near Greenfield Drive while responding to assist another officer. He is currently in the hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the other vehicle fled the scene, but was apprehended. This is an ongoing investigation and there is no further details at this time.
Fairfield, CT — On June 30, 2025, Dr. Lazaro Pomeraniec of Westport, CT was arrested by the
Fairfield Police Department and charged with Sexual Assault in the 4th Degree in connection
with an incident involving one of his patients.
Dr. Pomeraniec was released on a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport
Superior Court on July 10, 2025.

2025-06-27@Norwalk CT – Norwalk Police arrested 37-year-old Alaina Jones following an investigation into two stolen Glock 9mm handguns from her home. Detectives determined that the firearms were not securely stored, despite two juveniles living in the residence. The guns were later recovered by Stamford Police, and two male suspects were arrested. Jones was charged with risk of injury to a child, interfering with an officer, and negligent storage of a firearm. She was released on a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 11, 2025.
