His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. He strongly believes that the public has right to know what is happening in their backyard and that government needs to be transparent. Steve also likes promoting local businesses.

Swatting is a term used to describe the action of making hoax phone calls to report serious crimes to emergency services. Bridgeport News: Man ShotPolice UPDATE--On April 10, 2024, at approximately 6:55 pm Bridgeport Police responded to a ShotSpotter activation and citizen reports of a victim shot within the 1200 block of Park Avenue. Patrol officers responded to that area and quickly located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. The victim was transported to an area hospital via AMR ambulance where he is listed in critical condition. The Detective Bureau has responded and taken charge of the criminal investigation.
