His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. He strongly believes that the public has right to know what is happening in their backyard and that government needs to be transparent. Steve also likes promoting local businesses.

Bridgeport Public School Students Show Significant Improvement In National Test Scores

2016 Results show Overall Improvement of 11% for Mathematics, 8% Improvement in Oral Reading Comprehension Across all Grade Levels   #Bridgeport, CT – Mayor Joe Ganim and Bridgeport School Superintendent Fran Rabinowitz today released National AIMSweb test results for Bridgeport public school students that show significant improvement over scores from one year ago.  The AIMSweb online exam evaluates student capabilities in the areas of: early literacy and numeracy measures, oral reading comprehension, math computation, and math concepts and applications. Bridgeport News: 3 In Custody 1 At Large

7:09pm--#UPDATE: Police just said everyone is in custody. 6:40pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- Four in custody and one at large after a break in to an abandoned home at the corner of Clover Hill and Fiske Street.  Police are looking for a Hispanic male about 15-16 years of age in a light blue shirt who fled down Cover Hill towards Reservoir Avenue according to radio reports.   This report is made possible by:
