1:03pm--#Bethany CT-- First responders are having trouble accessing a hiker in distress on water company property on Sperry Road due to unplowed access roads. A snowmobile is on the way from Prospect. UPDATE--Water company officials have the distressed hiker and are making their way to the first responders.
#Norwalk CT--News12 is reporting that a body was found in a car on Gray Rock Road. Police investigated what they thought was an abandoned vehicle when they made the discovery.
12:12pm--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters are at 4180 Park Avenue where a fire on the stove extended and burned the nearby cabinets. Fire was out upon their arrival and the firefighters ensured it did not extend elsewhere.
#Bridgeport, CT – Feb. 10, 2014 – Two men face burglary and larceny charges in connection with the theft of an ATM machine. The ATM was stolen from 1191 Central Ave. on Jan. 23 and later found damaged and discarded. Detectives Walberto Cotto, Dave DeFeo, Angel Llanos, John Pribesh and Sgt. James Pianello investigated the case. The investigation remains active as detectives work to determine if the suspects are responsible for other ATM thefts. Additional arrests of other suspects are expected. Carlos Deleon, 56, and Anthony Villafane, 29, both of Bridgeport, face charges of third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny and first-degree criminal mischief.

The ceremony recognized outstanding work by both police and civilians in the past three years. "We are here to honor the men and women who put their lives on the line every day" said Mayor Bill Finch during the ceremony. Over fifty officer were honored during the ceremony that was held at the new Fairchild Wheeler Inter-District Magnet School. It was also a promotional ceremony as Paul Grech and Manuel Cotto were promoted and sworn in to the rank of lieutenant.
