2023-05-18@4:21pm (Wednesday)--#Bridgeport CT-- Bridgeport Police confirmed that they received a report of a stabbing in the 500 block of East Main Street. On-scene reports say the victim walked into a nearby restaurant requesting help. He suffered a non-life-threatening wound. He was transported to the hospital and remains uncooperative with police. 2023-05-13@11:26pm--Firefighters were called to an apartment building in the 100 block of Pixlee Place for smoke coming from the roof. Firefighters discovered a fire in the attic and the fire went to two alarms to bring more resources to the scene. There were no reported injuries.

Bridgeport News: Fire On Parrott Avenue
2023-05-12@7:34pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Firefighters were called to a fire in a bathroom in the 300 block of Parrott Avenue. Firefighter made a quick entry and extinguished the fire and rescued a woman on the second floor who was unable to walk safely out of the building.

On February 17, 2023, 68-year-old Jeffrey Lindo of Bridgeport CT was assaulted at his home during a domestic dispute. Mr. Lindo resided within the 100 block of Charles Street. On February 20, 2023, Mr. Lindo was found unresponsive inside his home and pronounced deceased. On May 10, 2023, The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner contacted the Bridgeport Police Department with the cause and manner of death. The cause of death is Blunt Impact Injury to the Head. The manner of death is Homicide. The Police Department’s deepest condolences go out to the family and friends of Mr. Lindo.
