3rd ARREST OF ANTONIO J. DOSSANTOS – CRIMINAL ATTEMPT KIDNAPPING IN THE 2ND DEGREE + RISK OF INJURY TO A CHILD

#Bridgeport CT-- On July 16, 2021, at approximately 10:21 am Bridgeport Police were dispatched to the intersection of Lincoln Blvd. & Taft Avenue on the report of an attempted kidnapping. The victim was a 14-year-old Central High School student on the date and time of the incident. The female student reported that she was approached by a male party while waiting in the area (Lincoln Blvd & Taft) for her father to pick her up from school. The male suspect grabbed the victim around the head and attempted to drag her into a black car. The female student resisted by pushing away from her attacker. Bridgeport News: Man Shot

#Bridgeport C T-- On May 7, 2023, at approximately 2:15 am a ShotSpotter activation occurred within the 1800 block of Barnum Avenue.  ShotSpotter is a gunshot detection system.  Upon arrival, officers located a man inside the Medusa Sport Bar (1801 Barnum Ave) suffering from critical gunshot wounds to his legs.  He was quickly transported to an area hospital and admitted.  The victim is a 37-year-old Bridgeport man.  The Detective Bureau has responded taken charge of the investigation.  Anyone with information about this crime is requested to contact the Detective Bureau, Detective Jose Bahr, at 203-581-5225.  Citizens can also utilize the Bridgeport Police Tips Line at 203-576-TIPS. https://youtu.be/VweMGVptThs

Bridgeport News: Homicide 11

Police identified the homicide victim as 37-year-old Baron Goulbourne of Bridgeport. They said On May 6, 2023, at approximately 11:10 pm, Bridgeport Police responded to the 1200 block of Park Avenue on a ShotSpotter activation. ShotSpotter is a gunshot detection system. Once gunshots are fired in an area covered by this service, police receive a notification within one minute directing them to the location of the gunfire. At approximately 11:15 pm, responding Bridgeport Police Officers were given updated information via the Bridgeport Emergency Operations Center (EOC). The EOC dispatcher advised officers they received information of party shot to death at 22 Vine Street.
