Officers Devin Polite, Judson Brown, Officer Natalie Luty and Jonathan Ferrao have resigned and will be going to Shelton Police. Officer Carlos DeJesus resigned and will be going to Weston Police. Officer Matthew DeFilippo resigned and will be going to Derby Police. There are just 6 officers in the police academy. Armed Robbery/Criminal Attempt Murder – Peking Chinese Restaurant

#Bridgeport CT--On November 25, 2022, at approximately 5:20 pm the Bridgeport Police Emergency Operations Center was notified of a party shot at 264 Wood Avenue, Bridgeport, CT (Peking Chinese Restaurant). As details came into police dispatch, uniformed officers and detectives quickly responded to the scene and determined the Peking Chinese Restaurant was also the subject of a violent armed robbery. During the course of the robbery, the 48-year-old restaurant owner was shot at twice. Bullet projectiles shattered equipment in the business that fragmented and struck him in the face. The restaurant owner was transported to a local hospital, treated for non-life-threatening injuries, and released. Fortunately, the store owner was not killed. Bridgeport News: Another Person Shot

#Bridgeport CT-- On November 26, 2022, at approximately 12:15 pm Bridgeport Police Officers were dispatched to 250 North Bishop Avenue on the report of a shooting that occurred at this location early this morning at approximately 1:15 am. Uniformed police officers located a crime scene outside the building and contacted the Detective Bureau. The Detective Bureau responded and has taken charge of the investigation. The victim has been identified as a 47-year-old Bridgeport man. He is being treated at an area hospital for a gunshot wound to the face and is expected to survive. Bridgeport Hospital called the police that they had a gunshot victim come in by private vehicle. Police investigated and found a second victim shot in the kneecap.
