4 Alarm Fire In Bridgeport
Bridgeport firefighters responded to a large fire in the 1600 block of East Main Street that started in the back of a building and spread to the adjacent building. Crews worked quickly to bring the fire under control and stayed on scene to make sure everything was fully out. No injuries were reported, and everyone inside—including pets—was able to get out safely. The cause of the fire is under investigation, and additional crews were called in to give firefighters a break during the long response. Man Stabbed

One man was stabbed in the neck, and was transported to the hospital, and the suspect fled the scene. Police are currently investigating.

This program provides tax relief to elderly or totally disabled residents whose incomes fall within established limits. Individuals who rent an apartment or room, live in cooperative housing, or reside in a mobile home may be eligible. Firefighters were called to the scene of a home on Hallock Street in Bridgeport, for a house fire. They had to run a firehose line from Main Street, where unconfirmed radio reports say that cars ran over the hose line. Firefighters handled the situation and knocked down the fire. The extent of the injuries is unknown at the time, and the State Fire Marshal was called to the scene.
Motorbike and Pickup Collide

ShotSpotter Alert Leads to Two Arrests After Vehicle Flees Orchard Street
At approximately 3:50 p.m., Bridgeport Police Department responded to the 120 block of Orchard Street following a ShotSpotter activation. No injuries were reported. Police say the vehicle involved fled Orchard Street and was tracked to the downtown Bridgeport area, near Lafayette Square and Fairfield Avenue. Two individuals have since been apprehended. The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional information has been released at this time.
