2019-11-17@ 1:33pm–#Bridgeport CT– A thirteen year old girl burned her hand in a brush fire on Clearview Drive according to radio reports. Firefighters extinguish the blaze and ask for the fire marshal to the scene and police are investigating as they do all injuries to children.
2019-11-17@1:56am–#Bridgeport CT– Police are breaking up a fight outside the 19th Hold on Brooklawn Avenue. Lots of people “spilling out” to Laurel and Cleveland according to radio reports.
2019-11-16 @ 9:02pm–#Bridgeport CT– A viewer posted this on Facebook of homeless sleeping in the bank vestibule last night. Police just sent a homeless person sleeping in the People’s Bank ATM vestibule at Boston and Chase Street on his way.
Viewers! We have to do better! What can we do? I know we have shelters and many do not want the constraints of a shelter. If a dog were left out in these temperatures cruelty to animals could be charged but yet it’s okay for the homeless? Many churches and people aiding society watch our page. What can we do to improve this? Lets bring people together to take care of our own!
UPDATE: Sources told me that the juvenile shot was uncooperative. He gave no details as to where or when the shooting took place. Victim’s father arrived at the hospital and told the officers to “pound sand” in not so nice language.
Bridgeport Police UPDATE: Police say it was a 16 year old boy who was shot in the arm and the two black males were seen running on Mill Hill. He was transported to the hospital in a private vehicle.
2019-11-16 @ 2:17pm–#Bridgeport CT– A man shot walked into Boston Beef at 1805 Boston Avenue, then left in a red car. All hospitals are checking clear of gunshot victims at this time.
2019-11-15@9:58pm–#Bridgeport CT– Police are investigating a crash involving one of their own at the intersection of State Street and Park Avenue. Both the police officer and civilian were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Police UPDATE: Police said a pitbull from someone’s yard got loose and attacked a pitbull on a leash. A party that was no there when police arrived broke up the fight by stabbing the dog that was on top at the time. Animal Control was called out and assisted the owner in bringing the animal to the Shelton Hospital. The party responsible was able to be identified after the fact but not located at this time.
2019-11-15@5:11pm–#Bridgeport CT–Bridgeport police say a dog was stabbed Friday afternoon during a dispute between two men. They say the pair was fighting on Newfield Avenue near Jefferson Street around 4:30 when one stabbed the other’s dog. Police say Animal control is responding at this hour to assist the animal, which was “alert and responsive” following the incident. Officials say they will likely make an arrest.
2019-11-15@5:20pm–#Bridgeport CT– A pedestrian has been hit in front of the emergency room entrance at Bridgeport Hospital at 367 Grant Street. Initial reports are saying it is a nurse that was struck. Unknown if the striking vehicle remained on scene.
2019-11-15@4:18pm–#Bridgeport CT– A 15 year old boy was hit by a pickup truck on Knoll Place (off Huntington Turnpike) and the pick up fled. The boy is now having difficulty breathing and is in pain.
