Bridgeport News: Firefighters Fight A Blaze On The East End

4:25pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Just before 4:30pm firefighters received numerous calls for a fire at 168 Kelsey Street. When firefighters arrived on scene they reported heavy smoke on the third floor. All occupants safely made it out of the three-family home. Within minutes the fire broke out of the hole firefighter cut to ventilate the building. Moments later fire spread, the fire went to two alarms and firefighters sounded the evacuation tone to get all the firefighters out of the structure. Within twenty minutes the bulk of the fire had been knocked down and by 6pm the firefighters recalled the alarm of fire. #Bridgeport, CT – The City of Bridgeport Health & Social Services Department will kick off the annual ‘Get Healthy Walk ‘n Talk’ on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at Seaside Park. The 6-week community walking series will take place each Saturday morning through June 9th. The group will meet at the beautiful Seaside Park near the horse stables and walk from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. Bridgeport News: Shots Fired

4:33pm--Greater Bridgeport Transportation called the police to report one of their buses were hit by the gunshots passing through the area.  No injuries reported.  Bus number 4203 was the bus hit. 4:09pm--#Brideport CT-- Police are investigating a shots fired incident from a vehicle.  A dark blue car with out of state plates shot up a car on Washington Avenue.   This news report is made possible by:
