11:39pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Firefighters quickly knocked out a fire at a machine shop on the first floor at 1918 Stratford Avenue.  A couple of days ago firefighters were called to a car fire and the car was locked behind the fence and firefighter had to work to get to the car.  On October 24th the area was the scene of another fire on the first floor, I'm certain which business that was in.

Mayor Ganim Recognizes People’s United Bank for Holiday Donation

Bridgeport, CT – Mayor Joseph Ganim recognized People’s United Bank for their generous holiday donation in support of children at daycares around the City of Bridgeport.
