12:22am--Firefighters were called to 1014 Noble Avenue where a pile of clothes caught fire on the third floor, where they quickly put out the blaze. Firefighters said a man was transported to the hospital with minor burns.
#Bridgeport CT-- Krauszer's Food Store at 2579 Fairfield Avenue was robbed at gunpoint by 3 black males ages 15-20. They wore face masks that covered half their face and displayed compact style handguns. The fled on foot down Monroe Street towards PT Barnum Housing according to radio reports. Bridgeport, CT – Mayor Joe Ganim today announced that Bridgeport Police Chief Joseph Gaudett has agreed to take a new position as a consultant for emergency communications in the Bridgeport Emergency Operations Center. Gaudett has served as Bridgeport Chief of Police since 2009 and is a 33 year veteran of the department.
