Bridgeport, CT – Mayor Joe Ganim announced more appointments of individuals named to head Bridgeport city departments. Specifically, Mayor Ganim is making public the following appointments: Nestor Nkwo, longtime Bridgeport Finance and budget official, has been appointed to head the Office of Policy and Management. Nkwo has more than 27 years’ experience in the area of city finances and crafting the budget for the city of Bridgeport. In his new role, Nkwo will be responsible for crafting the city’s budget and operational management for Bridgeport. Attorney R. UPDATE: Fairfield Police hit him with stop sticks and he hit a barrier and a state trooper. Ambulance dispatched for the trooper. 12:22am--#cttraffic--#Stratford CT-- Stratford Police in pursuit of a car on I-95 that went southbound, got off exit 24 in Fairfield, got back on I-95 northbound now exiting exit 27 in Bridgeport now on 95 south again.
