#Bridgeport, Conn. (November 12, 2015) – The Bridgeport Police Department announced the arrest of two adults and two juveniles on weapons charges. On Monday, November 9, police officers pulled a vehicle over at the intersection of Housatonic Ave. and North Washington Ave. for speeding and lacking proper registration. In approaching the black, 4-door, 2001 Volkswagen, police officers identified that two adult males and two juvenile males were the occupants. The driver of the vehicle – Daniel Joel Rosario Jr. of Derby (DOB: 5/10/1995) – wasn’t wearing his seatbelt. Bridgeport, Conn. (Nov. 12, 2015) – Today, the Bridgeport Police Department announced the arrest of a man for stealing several bags of shrimp from Food Bazaar (500 Sylvan Ave.). On Monday, police officers were dispatched to Food Bazaar following a shoplifting complaint. Upon arrival on scene, police officers located an individual sitting on the floor next to the store manager. The man on the floor – Carlos Muniz (DOB: 6/25/1978) – was identified as the shoplifter, and the police officer handcuffed and detained him. Police officers also determined that there was an active warrant for Muniz.
