Fairfield News: Fairfield Police Deliver Toys St. Vincent’s Hospital

#Fairfield CT--Last week, the Fairfield Police Department delivered toys to St. Vincent's Hospital.  Dianne Auger, Senior Vice President at St Vincent's said they toys will not only be used for the holidays but throughout the year like during birthdays.  The police department also delivered toys to Bridgeport Hospital this week. Officer Mark Letsch who lead the drive said he would like to thank the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, Rec Center, Betsy Browne, FTC, American Legion and Rocco Wealth Management for their awesome assistance.

Fairfield Health Department Hosts CDC National Diabetes Prevention Program

#FAIRFIELD, CT– It is estimated that about 86 million Americans have prediabetes and many don’t even know it. Individuals with prediabetes have blood glucose (sugar) levels higher than normal, but not high enough to be diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. However, people with prediabetes are more likely to be diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. Fairfield Dentist Gives Equipment To Enhance Dental Care for Tisdale Students

#Bridgeport CT-- Last week Dr. Dennis Ragoza along with State Senator Tony Hwang and members from the University of Bridgeport's (UB) Fones School of Dental Hygiene presented a panoramic x-ray machine valued over $23,000 to the Jettie S. Tisdale Middle School at 250 Hollister Avenue in Bridgeport.  Since 2007, (UB's) Fones School student-clinicians led by faculty have provided free dental hygiene care at the Tisdale School for more than 350 students per year.  The Panoramic x-ray unit provides a full X-ray of the jaw as opposed to individual films of teeth.  Senator Hwang said, "What is positive in Bridgeport impacts all of us in the surrounding towns".   Dr. Dennis Ragoza said “I was raised in Fairfield and always dreamed of returning home and starting…
