Fairfield News: Uninhabitable Home

During the week of April 17th, Fairfield Police were made aware by a concerned citizen about a dog that was found roaming in the Steep Hill Road area of Fairfield. The dog appeared to have been covered in feces and urine, having a generally poor appearance. Animal Control Officers began to investigate and determined that the dog came from a home on Steep Hill Road. After further investigation, it was determined that 25 dogs and 22 cats were living in poor conditions inside the home and needed to be removed. Animal Control Officers along with Fairfield Police, assisted with removing all of the animals from the home. Three animals are being treated at a local animal hospital for various conditions…

Fairfield Police Don’t Play- 3 Incidents In 3 Days Quickly Resolved

#Fairfield CT-- On Thursday, April 27, 2023, at approximately 12:30am, the Fairfield County Regional Dispatch Center received a 911 call reporting that a female was found on Johnson Drive and was claiming to have been robbed of $15,000 in cash. The “victim” reported that she was driving her vehicle when two black males, operating an older model sedan-type vehicle, activated flashing blue and red emergency lights and pulled her over at the intersection of Johnson Drive and Chambers Street. She was then approached by one of the males who identified himself as a police officer and was wearing a police badge around his neck. Fairfield News: Carjacking Arrests

#Fairfield CT--On Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at approximately 1:04pm, the Fairfield County Regional Dispatch Center received a 911 call from a male victim reporting that he was just robbed at gunpoint in the TJ Maxx parking lot located at 425 Tunxis Hill Cutoff in Fairfield. The victim was attempting a sale of his vehicle in the lot after a prearranged meeting was discussed using a common online platform. The suspects, described as two black males, brandished firearms ordering the victim to turn over his belongings and subsequently fled into the victim’s vehicle, a black BMW. Fairfield News: Police Quickly Apprehend Carjackers

2023-04-26@1:10pm--#Fairfield CT-- Fairfield Police quickly apprehended two carjackers who took a black BMW from the parking lot at TJ Max on Tunxis Hill Road. Police were able to track the suspects to Commerce Drive where the suspects ran to Enterprise Rent-A-Car where they attempted to rent a vehicle. Police surrounded the building and apprehended the two suspects. Once again Fairfield Police professionalism shined as Lieutenant Michael Paris sought me out to give his report to the public.
