2023-04-15@4:00am--#Fairfield CT--A viewer messaged me that at 4 am he drove by Andros Diner at  651 Villa Avenue and said he saw crime scene tape and shell casing markers on the ground. I reached out to Lieutenant Michael Paris of the Fairfield Police who said in an email "A disturbance that turned into shots being fired from a vehicle. Nobody was struck and the suspects are outstanding with an investigation underway". 2023-04-14@12:04pm--It's a good thing for the homeowners in the 800 block of Westport Turnpike that Fairfield firefighters still go to house fires despite what top town officials saying they don't. Assistant George Gomola reported heavy fire on arrival. Firefighters had the fire under control within a half hour. Fairfield Firefighters have been without a contract for 2 years now.

Ribbon Cutting At Cornerstone Medical Training Center

Chamber member, Cornerstone Medical Training Center, is celebrated its grand opening with an official ribbon cutting held on March 30th, at noon. The ceremony will be officiated by First Selectwoman, Brenda Kupchick, and then a second ribbon cutting with the Bridgeport Regional Business Council. Owner, Peggy Colas-Dixon and Shanoy Dixon invited the public to attend and take part in the festivities (Food/Music/Giveaways). Tonight’s Vehicle Fire

How about some likes for a trucker who stopped his rounds to save a man and dog from a burning car. As I first reported tonight at 8:11pm, firefighters were called to a car fire on I-95 near exit 19. As Assistant Fire Chief Gomola pulled up to the scene you can see a truck to the right that was protecting the scene from oncoming cars. Assistant Chief Gomola told me that a trucker from Maine pulled the man from the car, pulled him to a safe spot, and then went in to rescue the man's German Shepherd in the back seat.
