Fairfield News: Tenant Takes Landlord’s Items, Leaves Her Daughter

Water Rescue

2020-08-01@8:11pm--#Fairfield CT-- A homeowner on Fairfield Beach Road saw flares east of the Penfield Lighthouse and called Fairfield Emergency Communications (911).  Firefighters were dispatched on their fireboat and discovered a boat had run up on the reef.  Three people were rescued and the vessel is being towed to Captian's Cove Marina.   This news report is made possible by:

Work At Home

We've all heard that people are working from home since the COVID pandemic.   And we've heard on individual social media posts that New York is a ghost town on social media.  I didn't realize quite how many are either not working or working from home when I drove to the train station at downtown Fairfield.  This photo was taken at ten minutes afternoon on a Tuesday.  This place would normally be packed with cars as well as cars parked on the side streets.   This put things into perspective for me.  I'm sure if you commute from here you are as shocked as I.

Fairfield News: Wrong Type Of Deposit At Chase Bank

2020-07-22@8:40pm--#Fairfield CT-- A woman called police to report a white male with white curly hair was inside the ATM vestibule at Chase Bank who was only wearing a blue bikini bottom who was let's say making a different type of deposit.  When the man saw her he said sorry and went down to sit out of sight.   No mask and you were worried about Covid!  I guess it beats online banking.....
