Councilman goes above and beyond for fire victims
Hello, my name is Alyson and I am one of the victims of the fire at 235 French Street in Bridgeport this past Friday. First I wanted to thank the police, firefighters, neighbors and U-Haul that all came to our assistance that morning. My fiancé and I could have lost a lot more than just our belongings. The main reason I am writing is that I feel that everyone should be made aware of one of my neighbors who went above and beyond to help us. Domestic incident with a gun
1:49pm--#Stratford CT--Police are looking for a burgundy Explorer van after a domestic incident on Bruce Avenue. The suspect took out a gun during the argument and then fled down Bruce Avenue in the van. Police activity in the area including #Bridgeport.

Assaulted
9:00pm--#Bridgeport CT--A man was assaulted on East Main Street and Putnam Street having is neck slashed with a knife. Police were flagged down by the victim EMS on the way.
