Reward On Hit And Run Fatality

#Norwalk Connecticut--On May 11, 2016 at 9:30 pm, the Norwalk Department of Police Service investigated a hit and run accident on Van Buren Avenue near the intersection of Bedford Avenue. Two pedestrians were struck by a gray BMW, which was last seen fleeing south on Van Buren Avenue. The BMW is believed to have sustained front and right side damage to include a missing right side mirror, which remained at the scene. Both pedestrians, a male and female were transported to the Norwalk Hospital. The female victim, Jaime Lane later succumb to her injuries. The State of Connecticut has now offered a $50,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the death of Jaime Lane. Anyone with any information…

News 12 Connecticut’s shows will be produced out of News 12 New Jersey’s facility. Both of these “hubs” will contain two complete and separate production studios and control rooms so that each channel can operate and deliver live news simultaneously. State Police Detectives Investigate Norwalk Infant Death 

#Norwalk, CT. (October 6, 2016): State Police detectives from Western District Major Crime are investigating the untimely death of an infant in Norwalk. On October 5, 2016 during the evening hours the Norwalk Police Department responded to 9 Hunters Lane in Norwalk for an unresponsive 4 month old infant. The residence was reported to be a daycare facility. The 4 month old infant was transported to Norwalk Hospital for evaluation where they were later pronounced deceased. On October 6, 2016 at approximately 10:45 a.m., at the request of the State’s Attorneys Office, Connecticut State Police Western District Major Crime detectives responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. The Office of the Chief  Medical Examiner will conduct a post-mortem examination to determine the cause and manner of death. The incident…

Norwalk News: Armed Robbery Arrest

#Norwalk Connecticut--On September 29, 2016, the U.S. Marshals Service Violent Fugitive Task Force in North Carolina arrested Donald Outlaw, 28 of Hartford, in High Point North Carolina. The Norwalk Police Department held an active arrest warrant for Outlaw due to his involvement in the September 9, 2016 armed robbery of the Gold Rush Pawn Shop located at 495 Connecticut Avenue. Detective Cisero was able to establish that Outlaw and a conspirator had committed the armed robbery. Once extradited back to Connecticut, Outlaw will be charged with Robbery 1, Larceny 1 and Conspiracy. The warrant has a court set bond of $250,000.
