Fee Elimination Will Save Taxpayers $18.8 Million in FY 2026 and $25 Million in FY 2027 (HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Ned Lamont today announced that he is urging the Connecticut General Assembly to approve legislation he is proposing that eliminates the fees workers in certain professions are required to pay when initially applying for occupational licenses, as well as the fees associated with renewing them.
