Bridgeport News: Police Arrest Employee of Kitchen Remodeler for Embezzlement
#Bridgeport, CT – July 28, 2014 – A 24-year-old woman last week was charged with embezzling more than $50,000 from her employer. Detective Frank Podpolucha secured a warrant charging April Trowell, of Bridgeport, with first-degree larceny and first-degree computer crimes. Trowell was an employee at Hope Kitchen, a kitchen remodeling company located in the city. Her responsibilities included showing customers the showroom, gathering contact information and helping to design customers’ kitchens, in addition to responding to email, answering calls and ordering inventory.
