Police were dispatched to Jefferson Street between Newfield and Seaview Avenues on a report of gunfire and a possible shooting victim. Police found the victim unresponsive inside a vehicle on Jefferson Street suffering from a gunshot wound. Detectives responded to the scene and currently are processing the crime scene for evidence. The investigation remains in its early stages.
