9:02pm--#Bridgeport CT--The East Main Fish & Chips at 312 Putnam Street was just robbed at gunpoint by an African American male in a gray hoodie, black jeans saggin with red underwear. He fled on foot down Putnam Street.

7:01pm--#Bridgeport CT--The Dominoes Pizza man was just robbed on Cowles Street by three males with guns. Money phone and car keys taken, car was not taken though.
6:49pm--#Bridgeport CT--Another crash requiring extrication, this time at Park and North Avenue.
#Bridgeport, CT – An 8-year-old boy walking with his sister was injured when he was struck by a sport utility vehicle at Madison and Lincoln avenues. The boy suffered a leg injury and was taken to Bridgeport Hospital. The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and is cooperating with police, said Officer John Perry, a traffic unit investigator who is handling the case. The two children were crossing at the intersection when the boy was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound on Lincoln Avenue. The girl was not injured. The accident happened at about 4 p.m. The accident remains under investigation, and no charges had been filed. The boy’s injuries are not life threatening.

3:18pm--#Ansonia CT--Firefighters on the way to the police station for an odor of gas inside the Ansonia Police Station on Elm Street.
8:30 am--#Bridgeport CT--Two men escaped from this burning home at 478 Woodrow Avenue when smoke detectors did their job and alerted the men to the fire. It is thought to have started in the attached garage. It took firefighters led by Assistant Fire Chief Christopher Martin about a half hour to bring the fire under control. 9:45pm--#Bridgeport CT--A woman was shot and driven to Bridgeport Hospital and another man is shot in the foot on Central Avenue. Police just arriving.
